Gordon McKinnon
Chief Executive Officer, President and Director
Mr. McKinnon graduated with an Honours Bachelor degree in Management and Organizational Studies from the University of Western Ontario in 2006. He has led the Company since its inception in 2008, serving as President, CEO and a Director. Mr. McKinnon is a principal of McKinnon Prospecting Ltd., a private exploration company, is a director of Capha Pharmaceuticals Incorporated, Fox River Resources Corporation, and Noble Mineral Exploration Incorporated. Mr. McKinnon was a co-founder of Mineral Streams Inc., a private mineral royalty company that was sold to AuRico Metals Inc. in 2015. Prior to joining Canadian Orebodies, Mr. McKinnon served as Manager of Corporate Development with Baltic Resources Inc., a company which was acquired for over $70M.
Fraser Laschinger
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Laschinger graduated with an Honours in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2006. Mr. Laschinger joined Canadian Orebodies in 2011 as Manager of Corporate Development and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2013. Mr. Laschinger was a co-founder of Mineral Streams Inc., a private mineral royalty company that was sold to AuRico Metals Inc. in 2015. Before joining Canadian Orebodies, Mr. Laschinger worked in equity research for a Canadian investment dealer and for a private resource company as director of corporate development, where he oversaw corporate finance initiatives and led the due diligence on a number of potential acquisitions.
Bruce Mackie, P. Geo
Project Manager
Mr. Mackie is a professional geologist, and received his B.Sc. degree in geology and chemistry from Carleton University and his M.Sc. in geology from the University of Manitoba. He has more than 40 years of mining industry experience in both Canada and abroad. He has a proven exploration record, having managed several successful projects in gold, base metals and uranium in senior positions with Noranda, Hemlo Gold and North American Palladium.
